Our story begins with Jacobo Bermúdez, who made his life on the land that is now the Arrecife sector of Tayrona National Natural Park. A descendant of the Indigenous peoples native to the village of Taganga, next to Tayrona Park, he built a deep relationship with this land, growing its fruit and respecting the rhythms of nature.
Over time, his children and grandchildren carried on that legacy, adapting their traditions to the modern world without losing the heart of their bond with nature. When the government declared the area a National Park in 1964, the family chose to stay, as guardians and as hosts.
Today, Sandra and Jacobo run the campsite with the same philosophy as their ancestors: hospitality, deep respect for the environment and a genuine wish that every visitor leaves with a piece of this place in their heart.
