Our story begins with Jacobo Bermúdez, who established his life on the lands that now form the Arrecife Sector of Tayrona National Natural Park. As a descendant of the Tayrona Indigenous peoples, he forged a deep relationship with this land, cultivating its fruits and respecting its rhythms.
Over time, his children and grandchildren continued that legacy, adapting their traditions to the modern world without losing the essence of their connection to nature. When the State declared the area a National Park in 1964, the family chose to stay — as guardians and as hosts.
Today, Sandra and Jacobo Bermúdez lead the camping with the same philosophy as their ancestors: sincere hospitality, profound respect for the environment, and the genuine desire for each visitor to take a piece of this paradise in their heart.
